Group 3

I like how this group structured their presentation.  Each presenter facilitated a different type of poem that would could use in our own classrooms.  It made poetry more fun even if it wasn't academically stimulating for me.  I wish they would have talked a little more abut their book and why they chose the poems they did.  What are some teaching strategies other than just the composition of the poems that were included in the book (or from their own ideas).

We spent most of the time just writing, which in a poetry unit, is understandable.  I don't feel as if the group presented new information than we already covered in class.  I commend them on bringing energy to the unit and being prepared.  Each knew how they were going to introduce their poem and use their presentation time; they were all well prepared.

I think it is difficult to present material that we covered in depth during regular class, so I give this group a lot of credit for tackling it!
